We are pleased to announce that a total of three sessions (8 hours) of the 16th Congress of the European Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (ESSFN) will be streamed directly and live to the web.
Interested physicians who can not attend the meeting will be given the possibility to share some interesting moments with us. This has been made possible thanks to a co-operation with the Viennese Medical Society (Billroth-TV).

ASEAN Neurosurgical World
will meet in Bali
Prof. Beny A. Wirjomartani has the great pleasure to announce that the 11th ASEAN Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the 6th ASEAN Neurosurgical Nursing Congress and the Joint Educational Neurosurgical Meeting of ACNS/AASNS/WFNS will take place in the "Islands of God" Bali/Indonesia, December 2-5, 2004. During the Third Neurotrauma Conference, interested participants had the opportunity to visit the outpatients department for neuro-rehabilitation at the Tianjin Medical University General Hospital (f.l.t.r.): Prof. Takakura , Chinese head physician for Physiotherapy, AMN founding president Prof. Klaus R.H. von Wild , Prof. Abdeslam El Khamlichi , head of Department of neurosurgery and president of the XIIIth World Congress of Neurological Surgery, department of neurosurgery, Hopital des Specialites CHU Rabat-Sale/Morocco, and the host and congress president Prof. Shu-Yuan Yang , senior neurosurgeon and professor department of neurosurgery, Tianjin Medical University.

The 9th EMN Congress in Romania
Accident prevention and social costs of brain and spinal cord trauma, multidisciplinary approach of traffic accidents, neuropsychological sequelae, recent results in experimental T.B.I. and S.C.I and neuroprotection, as well as ethical issues on brain death and donors possibilities were the main topics of the 9th Congress of the European Academy for Multidisciplinary Neurotraumatology (EMN) in Bucharest/Romania, May 19-22, 2004. Congress president Prof. Alexandru Ciurea (2nd from left) met EMN and AMN founding president Prof. Klaus von Wild (1st from left), AMN founding member Dr. Monika von Wild and Prof. Theodor Stamate , chairman of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic, Emergency Clinic Hospital, Romania. Prof. Stamate was admited as new EMN member as plastic reconstructiv surgeon.
