New!International Society of Reconstructive Neurosurgery (ISRN)
The great international success of the WFNS Committee on the fascinating new area of Neurosurgical Re-engineering of the Damaged Brain and Spinal Cord has induced to the establishment of this new society, which will promote world-wide the multidisciplinary cooperation on the field of re-enginneering. Its aim will be the development and clinical support of recent bio and computer technologies. The foundation of the ISRN will take place in Nagoya, under the presidency of the AMN Academician Professor Yoichi Katayama, Tokyo.
To Honorary Members of the World AMN were unanimously elected the two AMN Founding Vice Presidents Giorgio A. Brunelli and Tetsuo Kanno. They were honoured on March 19, 2005, "for recognition of their contribution to neurotrauma and the establishment of the AMN" because of their farsighted conceptional visions of a multidisciplinary co-operation in the areas of Neurotraumatology, in the congresses of the AMN organized by them, the 1st in Brescia/Italy and the 3rd in Nagoya/Japan in co-operation with other scientific high-ranking conferences. Because of their outstanding achievements, Brunelli and Kano are internationally recognized as prestigious scientists and clinicians.

New AMN Executives and Advisory Board Members elected in Nagoya
On the occasion of the Third AMN Congress, March 10, 2005 at the Marriott Hotel, Nagoya in Toyoake Aichi, Japan, the following new AMN executives were elected by the AMN academicians: 2nd Vice President - Yoichi Katayama , Tokyo, AMN founding member. Registrar - Wai S. Poon , Hong Kong, AMN founding member. Deputy Treasurer - Yoko Kato , Associate Professor of the Department of Neurosurgery, Fujita Health University.
